The Triadic Model of Holistic Advocacy actively integrates the core tenets of an Eastern philosophical system (i.e. Yoga) with Western models of librarianship and servant leadership. Combined, this framework informs a praxis of librarianship that requires an empathetic approach to all librarian-patron interactions that enables professionals to become better advocates so that they can identify and break through traditional service barriers.
