Reflect, Discover, and Act: Certificate Programs as Pathways for Cultural Competency and Inclusivity

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

A casual conversation with a campus partner led to a library-focused Cultural Competency & Inclusive Teaching (CCIT) certificate. Launched in Fall 2018, the program offers a structured yet flexible format that recognizes the unique nature of librarians' roles. This panel will highlight the process of developing a certificate, program outcomes and learnings, participants' reflections on their experiences, and ideas to adopt or adapt the approach.
