Individual Presentation A:  Moving From Talk to Action: What Does Successful Institutional Change Related to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Look Like? (Mark A. Puente, Kiyomi Deards)
Are you tired of leaving equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) sessions with no direction on making efforts actionable? This session will propose tools and strategies to support communities, and institutions, in making substantive, meaningful, and enduring change in our profession using information from an extensive interdisciplinary review and analysis of EDI frameworks, change strategies, and other components.

Individual Presentation B: Moving from Diversity Programming to Social Justice Initiatives: the Evolution of an Academic Library Diversity Committee (Monica Figueroa, Doug Diesenhaus, Lisa Ruth, Kristan Shawgo)
This presentation discusses the process of re-envisioning an academic library Diversity Committee into one that is critically focused on social justice and action, and that works toward bridging silos throughout the Library. Panelists will discuss plans for the future, including initiatives that disrupt how Library staff think of their work and ways of participating in larger campus conversations regarding inclusion and equity.

Individual Presentation C:  Life after SIDE: Creating a Staff Development Program (Eileen Marie Theodore-Shasta, Carla Williams)

Following attendance at a summer institute on diversity education (SIDE), members of the Libraries Committee on D&I have created a staff development program where we offer learning opportunities for all staff.  We have offered three events already, and plan to follow up with a survey for staff to identify high-priority issues and/or topics for discussion.  The intent is to create a recurring series that will offered over a 2-year cycle.
