The Low Morale Experience of Minority Academic Librarians: A Review

A 2017 study of low-morale exposed experiences of workplace abuse and neglect and revealed associated concerns of academic library workplace culture and norms; however, the voices of racial and ethnic minorities are missing. This discussion shares results of a replicated study centering minority academic librarians and offers attendees an opportunity to discuss the low-morale experience and share emerging countermeasures to the phenomenon.
