Critical Conversations - A Tool for Dismantling White Supremacy at PWI's (Predominately White Institutions)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This workshop, inspired by Michelle Caswell's article "Teaching to Dismantle White Supremacy in Archives," helps participants explicitly identify how white privilege operates within systemic structures and imagine ways to create a more inclusive environment in libraries and archives. We will define white supremacy and privilege, and provide best practices for facilitation and resources that offer a solid starting place for institutional change.
