Poster 7: Providing thesis and dissertation support for engineering graduate students: preliminary results

Targeted workshops were offered to assist engineering graduate students creating their theses and dissertations. Highly attended workshops include writing an abstract and writing to differentiate the student ideas from their references. Results from pre- and post-tests showed some evidence of effectiveness and revealed some evidence of student difficulty. Overall, the workshops were successful in that the students were satisfied with the service.
